Tim said he looked a little lost out there, but he caught a pass and he intercepted a pass. Still the fastest kid on the field, but he's got a pretty steep learning curve.
And he admitted the other day that he misses soccer a great deal, but that he's enjoying football. The day before that, he was ready to quit it all and find a year-round running/track program. His feelings about his athletic endeavors change by the hour... nay, the minute.
Which I think is common for children his age.
It is getting interesting around here...

What a gift he has, and now where to use that gift to it's fullest. His gift is not mine. From a woman who is over 55 years old and 5 ft tall in my shoes. I do not run fast or jump high and I am not sure if I can still catch a football. I can still cheer on the team!
