Straight sweep

For the first time this season, Isaiah placed first in all three of the events in which he competed.

100 meter dash (12.35 seconds)
200 meter dash (25.5 seconds)
Long jump (17.1 feet)

To say that we are proud of him is kind of an understatement.

And because Tim attended the track meet instead of me, there were 323 photos to sort through. (I took 81 photos at the Monday meet. And a third of those were of Isaac.) Some of the pictures are pretty incredible. Although, when the subject you're photographing is as awesome as Isaiah, it's easy to get carried away.

Long jump: Winning jump.

Long jump: Winning jump.

Long jump: Winning jump.

Winning the 100 meter dash.

Long jump: first attempt
(Tim told him to be cautious and "just get one on the books."
His first jump would have earned him second place.
His second jump was the winning jump.
It was 2.5 feet longer than his first.
And 1.5 feet longer than the second place jump.

Long jump: first attempt

Long jump: first attempt

Long jump: first attempt

Long jump: first attempt

Long jump: first attempt

Long jump: first attempt

Long jump: first attempt

Winning the 200 meter dash.
