Overheard at the HennHouse

Lots of our conversations these days center around my dad. As we were driving to the track meet yesterday, Isaac had LOTS of questions.

Isaac: "Do Mimi and Papa still love each other?"

Me: "Yeah. They've been in love for almost four decades."

Isaac: "That's a long time."

Me: "Yeah. A really long time."

Isaac: "So were they children when they got married?"

Me: (treading lightly) "Ummm. No. They were grown up."

Isaac: "How old ARE they?!"

Me: "Well, Mimi is 29..."

Isaac: "NO WAY. Mimi is AT LEAST in her 1960s."
