Esther-Faith: "Mom, how do you spell 'disco'?"
Me: (as she writes in one of her many notebooks) "D - I - S - C - O"
Me: "Why do you need to spell disco?"
Esther-Faith: "Because I'm planning my disco birthday party."
Yeah. She's already planning her birthday party that isn't going to happen for nine months.
It's a good thing she didn't ask me how to spell bell bottoms or tie-dye or I would start to worry that her obsession with the 1970s is going too far.

I think the party planning in advance is an age thing. Brendan is already trying to plan his 6th birthday...only 11 months away!!
9 months? That's nothing - I still can't believe we had the following conversation over here - "Mummy, how many more sleeps is it until my Birthday?" "362!"
